One More to Bite the Dust ?

On my travels I popped up to have a quick look at the unusual site of the sun....and before you could say bury yourself I was ear holed by a barrage of distressing words...which gave this mole great cause for concern...."I am closing my pub and converting it in flats"...... can this be true... are we to loose yet another hostelry...... what a shame.... so lets wait and see... but be prepared to say goodnight for ever at The Navy Inn

We Can Smile

A quick sneek round and about brought cheer with more smiles....This time The Shipwrights Front Street and The Three Crowns Law Street.......I alway think of this poem.....

A SMILE
It cost nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anybody till it is given away!
If someone is to tired to give you a smile, leave one of yours.
For, nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none to give.

Three Crowns Lock Debate

December 6th 2005 A Debate has broken out which could if not resolved cause undo hardship in the quite back water known as Law Street Pembroke Dock. It has been reported that the current landlord of the Three Crowns known locally as HIM or MUSH or ANY CHANCE OF A DRINK or GARY, has used his skills ..... to fit a new door handle to the bar. So far 5 (that's over 90% of known customers) have had to receive treatment for stress and strains, not just trying to enter or leave the bar but also being quoted the price of a large scotch The saga of the door has caused a near panic ...is this a clever ploy or a Gary maintenance c***- up....Try a visit and see for yourself You can see the horror on the faces of not just those trying to get in but also trying to leaveUpdate 10th December
A replacement handle has arrived and we are assured that in the near future a permanent upgrade will be sourced and fitted. The customer base remain sceptical of the claims of
management in the current political climate surrounding the Three Crowns....more soon...We have had a comment from the MANAGEMENT .......It reads " ####### ####### ## ########### ####### "

A meeting of the Anti Lock Out Group was held this evening........we didn't get passed the community singing
