Latest News Exclusive! New Nightspot and Casino in Pembroke Dock?

The Mole liked this one..so nicked it from your famous web project

............ Here at the Web project we have received a whisper that a small group of local entrepreneurs have been given a green light after receiving confirmation from the current owners of the sale and unconditional consent to convert the building in the Old Royal Dock Yard rumoured to be the Old Dockyard Chapel. The refurbished building visited by the Prince of Wales last year will be converted into a Lap Dance and Casino Nightspot. Our spy tells us planning is well in hand. A quote from an unconfirmed possible partner in the scheme said " we believe we can now go ahead with the scheme due to the recent gambling regulation changes agreed by the UK Government and other local administrations" and went on to say "all the right people are shall we say a safe bet". The club is due to open its doors to the public on 1st April 2008 for its first season, Keep checking back for the latest on this exciting project

Well it was Sunday 1st April when it appeared on the site

Burrowing on the Burrows

The MOLE is not in the habit of roaming to far but me and Mrs MOLE thought this snippet should be aired............less building more MOLE space............

Do you enjoy Freshwater East ............. if so defend it or lose it. Govan Davies is planning to build on the burrows and is objecting to their registration as a Village Green. People have
been free to roam and use the burrows with out let or hindrance, you can help to keep them open for public use. Registration as a Village Green is the only way any future development can be prevented. This land is far too important to us as an open space, than fenced and used as plots for luxury housing. At 10.00 am 20th March at Lamphey Court Hotel the
government inspector will hold a public enquiry.

We need to NOTICE things

After my sad news in my last report I burrowed off to see what else was changing in our Town...... and yes I found a interesting Planning Notice (which should by law be placed where it can be read by the general population) at Albion School ...... well I know us MOLES are not renowned for having good eyesight.... But to see this one you would need a zoom lens...Secured to the old school notice board behind an iron spike and chained, locked fence....come on play fair at least let us read the notice even if when we comment nothing happens

One More to Bite the Dust ?

On my travels I popped up to have a quick look at the unusual site of the sun....and before you could say bury yourself I was ear holed by a barrage of distressing words...which gave this mole great cause for concern...."I am closing my pub and converting it in flats"...... can this be true... are we to loose yet another hostelry...... what a shame.... so lets wait and see... but be prepared to say goodnight for ever at The Navy Inn
