Toe...ing the Line

This MOLE has no problem keeping to the right site of the tunnel....but having been awakened from a well deserved kip by the sound of squealing brakes....this old MOLE just saw a car and a dirty great lorry trying to use the same bit of the road...I must add the car driver was in the right stopped in the filter lane.......you can guess the rest....no damage and the only injury was to this MOLES nerves...so we decided to watch for 15 Min's and shall we say it could of been a recurring nightmare.....so try staying on your own side of the white line and you could save more than the nervous stress to this MOLE

I think that's the piece of road where you can create your own speed limit, I think it starts by the old Chemist shop in Commercial Row and ends down at the main roundabout - a bloke in a minibus nearly got me at the Western Way pelican crossing on Spring Bank Holiday Monday, can't blame him really, he was going so fast that I doubt he noticed the red light and the crossing 'bleeping'!

It's not just at that end of Front Street. I watched a car do an emergency stop for a red light on the crossing by Jewsons. Lucky the pedestrian was paying attention and moved quickly!
